From your first conversation to your first day, here's how we support you through the transition.
Choose the right brokerage
Consider what you need from your next brokerage — managing broker access, admin and conveyancing support, technology, training, flexibility, and fee structure.
When we meet, we want to understand what matters to you so we can be clear about how Pemberton Holmes can support your business.
Before you give notice
Speak with your new brokerage before finalizing your transfer. We can help you think through timing, active business, board and licensing requirements, marketing changes, and the practical details of your transition.
Transfer your license
BCFSA: Log into the IRIS Portal and submit an Application for License Transfer ($250 fee — credited back when you join Pemberton Holmes).
VREB: If you are a board member, our onboarding team will provide the current form and walk you through the update.
Active listings & rebranding
Before your transfer, we will review your active listings, pending transactions, and other business in progress together.
We will also help identify what marketing materials need updating — signs, cards, website, email, social media, and more — so the transition feels seamless.
Onboarding
Meet with our onboarding manager, get familiar with the brokerage, and review the systems and processes you will use.
Your onboarding manager stays available as you settle in — and our managing brokers and staff are always there when questions arise.
